We have picrel at home
we got a long grill plate so we can ''barbeque'' easier but we've noticed the oil buildup on the plate is abundant. there is a little hole in the middle to the side with a little collection tray but it's practically useless.
we had one with a with an open grate, the heating rods directly below it and below that a water reservoir, but it broke very quickly.
do any of you have any recommendations for a good and big electric bbq/grill? or something that comes close

First off, that is a griddle. You are not doing bbq on that, sorry. Best you can do is a weak stir fry.

BBQ requires the use of smoke, either via charcoal or wood.

Grilling supports use of charcoal, wood, propane, but not electric. Because grilling specifically refers to the grill being used to cook. I guess you "could" have an electric element under a grill, but no one really makes/sells them because 120V power is just too weak for that.

thanks for the explanation, I just put ''barbeque'' because I knew it was wrong but didn't know the right word. I also didn't know what grilling really meant
I'm gonna assume you don't happen to know an alternative for what I'm looking for, maybe something that does work on low power
