Anyone else have an irrational aversion to certain foods?
For the life of me, I can't stand rice, the look, the smell, the taste all make my stomach turn. I ate one of those "organic" brand cookies and couldn't shake this awful after taste for days. Sure enough, it was made with rice flour. What's odd is I used to eat rice all the time as a toddler, and then one day, I just hated it.

I hated rice as a kid and still dislike it as an adult. I have issues digesting starch and rice is more likely eaten plain as a side so it bothered me more than other starches that are usually mixed with things.

Issues with food like this can sometimes be from negative reactions.

For me it’s anything that touches the sink. If I drop it on the floor it’s fine after rinsing, but sink touched goes right in the trash

I have no problem eating various çebugs, including raw ones like oysters, but I absolutely can and will not eat snails. it's like not even a remote possibility, absolutely not

I hate any kind of green sauce or paste or liquid. I actually like green vegetables, I don't mind those. Whole or even chopped vegetables, garnishes and all that are fine. But things like guacamole, pesto or that disgusting dubai chocolate shit makes me want to vomit. Looks unnatural.

Rice with just butter is god tier, as is rice and gravy.

Rice all spiced up and soured up by the undesirable monkey races is vastly inferior and tryhard.

I don't like watermelon,I like fruits especially in the summer but I have to force myself to eat watermelon,it makes me sick when my parents eat watermelon loudly and fast to the point they choke with that shit

Butter exists to be used as an ingredient. Especially for sweet foods. Not to be eaten in its pure form in any way. Not for frying. As a component. In recipes. The fact that it is often used improperly is disgraceful.

I won't eat eggs with chicken. It just seems exceptionally cruel to me. The Japs have a chicken and egg dish that translates to 'parent and child'; I find it barbaric.

Snail just taste like octopus/squid. They also gotta be farmed cause wild ones will prob kill you if you eat em lol. Not like amazing, but not really much to dislike about em. Also, their heads are chopped off, if that was a worry.
