Guess what I'm gonna do with these pumpkins anon
>>21466187 (OP)you're gonna stuff em like they deserve >:]
>>21466187 (OP)Hopefully kill your entire made up family first and then you second.
>2 onions (biig)>2 garlic (cloves)>>21466189Frick, I didn't expect anons to get it so quickly
>alot of paprika
>salt
>vegeta (non-msg)
>pepper and lemon pepper
>tiny amount of cayen pepper
>parsely, rosemary, thyme
A dash of avo oil (ran out of olibe oil)
And a dash of water, too. Helps keep the MEAT nice and tight
How u faggots doing? What did you cook or eat today?? What anime did you watch? I watched Ruri Rocks and City. Both great!
Taste the meat and add any more seasoning, if need drives you. These taste better when they're heavily seasoned desu
In da fridge while the next step is for out the fridge for when done with the pumpkin carving
>>21466227i don't watch anime because it's all just re-hashings of dragonball z.
And now the real fun begins
Hmm yes
This pumpkin is made of pumpkin
>>21466252>that ugly hand>>>/lgbt/
Clean out the insides
Get rid of those white bits, too
>>21466262Ur a homo
Use a spoon
It's easier than by hand
>>21466266One might say the same considering all the attention you crave.
Rinse it out to get out all the pumpkin sneeds
>>21466268>NNNOOOOOOOO YOU CAN'T MAKE OC COOKING THREADS ON /CK/ STOP IT STOP IT STOP ITfeel free to leave my thread and hide it so you can go back to shitposting in your dozen fast food threads
>>21466274if I leave you'll have no one to talk to lonely boy
Don't mind me
Just ruining this board with cooking and original content
<3
I like to save the extra lil bits that remain around the stem. It's enough to add to a whole other meal later in the week, no reason it should be wasted
I'll probably add these to some bean soup or in egg fried rice
Hello cousin.
>>21466227>What did you cook or eat today??Dinner was a really, really salty sausage from a butcher I've never been to before and will never go to again, boiled potatoes with sweet parsley and garlic-lard, sauteed broccoli and sauteed shredded beetroot with onion and sour cream. Wife made millet-flour roti.
Lunch pasta with lentils
Breakfast was one waffle with my coffee.
I also had an apple around 1pm and a banana around 5pm. Small glass of fruit juice but I don't remember when. Lots of water.
>>21466268if you weren't so self-absorbed you'd see how this applies to yourself far more than it applies to op.
>>21466227doing good lil nigga, thanks for asking. i made some arayes on the grill with some buddies today. came out kinda bland and shitty but we still ate it.
>>21466297All sounds yummy even the salty salty sausage!
>>21466300Crackin open a hot arayes with the boys
Start with the biggest pumpkins first, then work down to the smallest. Really stuff em in there, the meat has to be nice and compact. You wanna avoid airpockets and try to get it up and under those over hangs that might be at the top
This part is alot of fun!
Sprinkle and press down a lil bit of flour on top
This is probably not necessary, but apparently it helps keep the meat from coming out while cooking
You could put the top of the pumpkin back on, but that's alot of effort for no real reason. I've seen some people cap them with tomatos, might try that some day.
Also, this turned out to be the perfect amount of meat for these pumpkins, but often times I have leftover meat. In these cases, I just pack the remaining meat into a nice ball roughly the same size as the rest and toss it in the soup. Alternatively, just freeze the meat and use it for a different meal later on, like meatball soup
We're gonna need a bigger pot...
Water and a can of tomato sauce. Second can will go in later on, about halfway through
>does nothing in you're pot
Can use a plate to weigh down the pumpkins if theyre peaking out over the top. Just to make sure the meat cooks properly
Why didn't you just make burgers instead of this turkslop? They're easier to make and taste better.
Add the other can and a couple dashes of sugar. The meat is very savory and slightly spicy, so the broth, which is basically just tomato soup, should have a slightly sweet twist. It gives it a very delicious contrast. Oh yeah, and I salted the water right after pouring it in. always salt at the start. At the end I'm also gonna put in a tiny bit of black pepper and parsley, but other than that, the soup is nice and simple compared to the actual meat
>>21466356I had burgers a couple days ago
Separate out a little bit of the broth and let it cool down
Gonna combine this with some flour to give a little bit of thickness to the soup. This isn't necessary
You can make it even thicker by using more flour. But dont put the flour directly into the soup, you'll ruin it and just get clumps of flour floating around
See? Even in a separate bowl and pouring the broth slowly, still clumps
Poured it back in through a sieve to make sure no clumps clumped innit
Meat is done
Takes just over 2h to cook fully through, maybe 2h10m or something
Mmhhhhmmmmm stuffed pumpkin soup
Finished up with the parsley and a pinch of pepper. Would've added a bit of lovelace, too, but ran out
>>21466369I googled this Romanian version of the soggy turkslop and apparently you don't even make mashed potatoes as a side to the slop. That's literally the best part of this disappointing dish! Another alternative to your slop: spaghetti and meatballs. When will Eastern Europeans learn that their food sucks?
>>21466385Mashed potatos are god awful
I would rather kill myself than curse this delicious meal with a side of mashed potatos
Open it up like a flower
Toss that pumpkin skin in the fucking garbage
You can eat it if you want, but all of the flavor has been pulled out of it by the broth and infused into the meat, so all that's left is a soggy, mushy, gross shell. The purpose has been served. Toss it aside like a wet paper towel.
Wallah
Stuffed pumpkin soup
This is one of my favorite meals ever. It's so fucking good bros
Thanks for reading my thread
Try to make this sometime! It's pretty simple, just takes more time to prepare than other meals
Also lasts quite a long time. You can easily make a pot of this as mealprep and have a bowl a day for a week. This usually lasts us 3-4 days
You can add a dollop of sour cream in your bowl to make it even tastier btw. I usually do that on the second day I have it, it makes the soup very creamy and yummy
But for now
Served with a slice of toast and cream cheese
Goodnight anons! <3
>>21466269>Rinse it out to get out all the pumpkin sneedslol when I saw the first pic I assumed it was pumpkins
>>21466406Looks really good, this is my first time seeing boiled stuffed peppers but I understand it now if itโs a soup
>>21466646it's not a soup anywhere else, Romanian cuisine is just a bit off-kilter in the regional context.
Salut,fellow /ck/ romanian
>>21466771Do you guys steal off each other or is it just foreigners you gypsys rob?
>>21466780Gypsies themselves are foreigners and there are more of them in italy, where they're actually from originally. gypsies steal from Romanians more than anybody else in Romania because of the sheer fact they're there. Romanians will also steal from you, so stay out of the country please there's no need for you to go there.
WAIT A MINUTE
THOSE AREN'T PUMPKINS
>>21466877>there are more [gypsies] in italy, where they're actually from originallyBullshit on both counts. You must be Romani. Only a gypsy would lie so brazenly.
According to https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/gypsy-population-by-country
The US has the largest total gypsy population and Bulgaria has the largest percentage of the population be of gypsy background (roughly 12% of Bulgarians are gypsy). Romania is just behind, with 10%. Italy? Not even half of a single percent of the populace are gypsies, you thieving cunt. What few there are generally get forced into literal ghettos and concentration camps, even to this day lmao
It started as a programme to give them free housing but after they ruined the communities around them, they're practically locked away there and have little interactions with people outside of their shithole
And gypsies originated in India, retard. Their language is descended directly of Sanskrit and is a close relative of Gujarati, Punjabi and Rajasthani. They're descended of Indian outcasts AKA Untouchables/Dalits who were disgusted with being treated badly so they fled westward.
Never seen stuffed peppers boiled like that. Usually we just bake them with a little water and tomato sauce a pan.
>>21467117I just bake them without sauce and serve them with a gravy matching the meat I used in making it. Either that, or mushroom gravy. Mine are basically mini meatloaves
>>21467024Didnt read lol
Cry more gippo
Thanks for the OC, anon. Good stuff
It's a shame you had to ragebait by calling them pumpkins to get attention
>>21467176Why would I cry? Did some thieving Romanian/gypsy (same thing) pickpocket me in London or something?
>>21466388looks good! also congrats on choosing orange paprika
>>21467117I've had that as an Eastern European and I wouldn't say texmex baked peppers with cheese were a class above boiled ones from the Balkans.
>>21467362Is there some other kind of paprika?
>>21467178I dont understand what you mean
