the flavour is great, but the pine needle like texture sucks. you have to grind it into powder, or just use it as an aromatic that you don't actually eat.

Yes
Rosemary can definitely be overused very easily though and should be used more conservatively than many recipes will say. Also depends on fresh or dried. But use too much it will certainly be overpowering
