Where do you go for the best pizza in the universe?
This pizzeria 500m from my house
Andyโs Pizza in Peckville

It's a planet full of Guido-esque Canid lifeforms that make the best damn pizza this side of the Western Quadrant. Like, they built their entire culture around the concept of it. They have over 500 vocalizations for Pizza. It's genuinely mind blowing.

A short bike ride away from my house, a short wait in line to get seated, a great caesar with anchovies, a short wait for the oven, some great rotating IPAs, and a great dinner with leftovers for lunch. As good as the first day after 8 minutes in the air fryer.
I was on a work trip to some middle of nowhere village in spain recently, and there was a small pizza place that seemed to never be open. Apparently they only open on Thursdays or something and we decided to go (because there was barely any choice around so somewhere new for dinner sounded nice) and my jove, I had the BEST pizza I have ever had there, and probably will ever have. It was goat's cheese, honey, rocket salad I think, and maybe a bit of walnut or something I forgot exactly. But it was absolutely heavenly. I don't tend to remember individual meals even if they're good, but that pizza stuck with me because of just how much better it was than any other pizza I've ever had.
We were only there for about a week so it was only ever open one day while we were there, and the village thing was otherwise completely devoid of anything interesting so I'll probably never ever travel nearby again unless I feel like taking a plane ride for a pizza. But if I ever took a plane ride for a meal, that'd probably be it.
>>21471572 (OP)This is basically like my sourdough focaccia cast iron pizza; though mine is better because I highly doubt they use sourdough starter.
Anywho this is the power of high hydration dough:

>>21472391 You mean the pizza oven that conceals a secret door leading to a subterranean dungeon filled with children hooked up to adenochrome-harvesting machinery and indescribably tormented every moment of their poor lives to keep the adenochrome production high in order to ensure the Jew-reptilian hybrid elites have their elixir that allows them to survive in this alien planet by satisfying their metabolic needs normally met on their home planet through the consumption of a fungal like organism pronounced Ezpeekalodasno-ratoiden-fepron that uses solar wind and basalt substrates to produce a molecule similar to adenochrome but the organism cannot be transplanted on Earth despite thousands of years of failed attempts and the original raceโs hybridization efforts were a desperate attempt to maintain genetic dominance in our solar system while also decreasing the dependency on adenochrome analogs but it didnโt work entirely and one of the side effects was increased aggression and extreme narcissism and selfishness which is why (((they))) do what they do and why Trump ultimately could not succeed in dismantling their hold on Earth first and later the galaxy, because even though Trump had the gumption and fortitude to free us of this insidious millennia-old yoke it was ultimately the American people that failed him and his altruistic and noble cause which is why he worked his ass off to become a self-made billionaire in the first place like Bruce Wayne but instead of measly criminals he was going after an intergalactic conspiracy of hybrid overlords who enslave our kids and keep us divided so they can steal all the wealth.
Are these the pizza ovens you are referring to?
>>21471572 (OP)local hipster pizza pub that serves local craft beer
>>21472437I saw Midsommar in theaters either three or four times. For whatever reason it really left an impression on me that summer. I've watched many better horror films since then but I still have a soft spot for it over Hereditary.
>>21471572 (OP)Joe's Pizza in NYC (Especially the one in midtown) is it the best? I dunno, since I can't say objectively the best pizza place. Is it the most reliable, which means my favorite? yes!
>>21471898I don't want to sniff some dog man's ass and bark just to order a pizza though
Can pizza have too much cheese?
>>21473956Yes. It can make the pizza too greasy

>>21473653I live around the corner from the original location in the Village and it's been better than any of the other locations I've tried (especially the FiDi one, god that one is horrendous) but I haven't tried the midtown one, didn't even know they were there honestly.
But yeah Joe's is great. I also like NY Pizza Suprema by Penn Station and Patsy's (the East Harlem one) for slices. For whole pies I gotta go with John's. Totonno's down on Coney Island is also fantastic but they're such a pain in the ass to get to.

best cheese pie I ever had came from Staten island in the seventies, Formaggio al Forno! they're closed now but they had ranch cups back before that was the standard. I had friends that would go there just for the ranch sometimes. all my love to Ronnie and ken
New York, New Haven, or somewhere in Italy; these are your three options, and they're all fine. Chicago is the weird foot fetish choice.
>>21474886Out of these, only italy has good pizza.
>>21472234Yeah no I've eaten there and the pizza ain't that great
>>21474275>tried the midtown one, didn't even know they were there honestly.I should have specified that its Midtown West
>NY Pizza SupremaAnother classic for sure!
>For whole pies I gotta go with John'sI think that is the overall best pizza in WV
Also, if you happen to be near Astoria, I highly recommend Ginoโs. It's a nice little place near where I live, my personal favorite!
But Joe's Pizza is still the ol reliable since that's where I go after work with coworkers
>>21475730>Also, if you happen to be near Astoria, I highly recommend Gino'sI'm actually going to LIC tonight for a concert (Skorts, local band, they're awesome) so Gino's is not out of the question
>>21475974>I'm actually going to LIC tonight for a concertIf you wanna stay in LIC and get a good pizza instead of going to Astoria, I recommend GoodFellas Pizzeria just for the convenience!
I Tigli, Renato Bosco Pizzeria, Pepe in Grani, La Notizia, Da Ezio (Alano di Piave). Definitely worth the detour.
>>21471572 (OP)I make it myself.
>>21471725Also a decent option for the cooklets amongus.
>>21471664>New Haven CTI went to Choate and the local town pizza was bretty good
>>21474886>Italy has good PizzaTired of this meme. Go to Tuscany or Veneto and Order a Pizza. You might as well order a Pizza in France. Most of Italy has nothing to do with Pizza and it's only sold as a tourist trap. The Region around Naples is where italian Pizza originates and is a local specialty of. Anywhere else is no different than any "italian restaurant" around Europe.
>>21471572 (OP)probably Italy
or maybe Pizza Planet if such a planet exists
as for me, what I could get RIGHT NOW within my LOCAL AREA?
>papa johns thin crust with bbq sauce, steak, bacon, and onionsfor me at this particular moment that would be the best pizza possible in the universe
>>21477871yeah but even the tourist trap pizza is REALLY good
>>21477887>even the tourist trap pizza is REALLY goodcan't say the same about NYC, even though the best pizza i've ever had was there, can't find it, but i remember being around bryant park
>>21477893Yes, you can. John's pizza is legitimately awesome. As is Joe's, Lombardi's, Totonno's, Denino's, Lucali, etc.
