I've been cooking on a brick rocket stove for two years. I don't have a fridge nor a stove nor an electric kettle. I only own a kettle a cowboy coffee pot and a single cast iron pot.
The thought has crossed my mind of at least thinking/imagining/planning a last resort method of totally natural cooking in case everything goes to shit and I no longer have gas/electric and crap like that.
I have plenty of wood but not an infinite amount.

What do you do when it rains all day though?
>>21471739That looks righteous brotha. I've got a bigass blue umbrella that affixes to a pipe in the ground, keep my wood covered in the wintertime.
>>21471737With the right proportions of air flow and heat focusing you'd be surprised by how little wood is needed to cook a meal. I believe we'll reach fusion reactors just before widescale grid collapse however. But still good to know how to cook oldstyle
