I've been cooking on a brick rocket stove for two years. I don't have a fridge nor a stove nor an electric kettle. I only own a kettle a cowboy coffee pot and a single cast iron pot.

The thought has crossed my mind of at least thinking/imagining/planning a last resort method of totally natural cooking in case everything goes to shit and I no longer have gas/electric and crap like that.

I have plenty of wood but not an infinite amount.

With the right proportions of air flow and heat focusing you'd be surprised by how little wood is needed to cook a meal. I believe we'll reach fusion reactors just before widescale grid collapse however. But still good to know how to cook oldstyle
