Breaking pasta is the superior choice
>evenly cooks the pasta instead of having half the pasta being half-cooked
>you don't have to play around with the pasta when eating it like you're a little kid
>takes less space and easier to cook

???
you understand that boiling water will soften pasta immediately so you can push it all in the water, right? you're not leaving half of the pasta sticking out of the water like some retard, are you?

Italians don't break pasta because it's symbolic of the breaking up of the Roman Empire, eventually leading to their modern failed nation.... moorish gypsy grifters who can't even pay denbts, and their criminal diaspora.

you don't seem to get it. the pasta softens immediately, you push it all into the pot. half of it is only outside the water for seconds, which is insignificant with a 10 minute cook time.

What kind of magic pasta do you have that instantly get soft in a few seconds?

Your pasta should soften almost immediately if you're putting it in boiling water. Are you putting your pasta in lukewarm water or something? Let it come to a full boil first.

Since it's a popular choice in other countries, could you guys satisfy a curiosity of mine?
If you break the spaghetti shorter, how do you even eat it after? Full length is already barely enough to form a nice, tight spindle that'll stay on your fork, but it should be nigh impossible on halved spaghetti.

Do you just lift it in the middle and then slurp it up as if you were eating ramen? Or have messy bites that still require a lot of sucking?
It just feels like it should be really impractical and anyone would stop breaking it after a single time seeing how much worse it makes consumption after.

I agree. also the default length of italian pasta is too long. sometimes when I twirl it up, it will fling a droplet of sauce, making a mess. There's no benefit to making your food so tangled.

Italian food rules are retarded anyway. Chinese invented their noodles, and they often sell dry noodles wound into a ball shape, so you can drop all the noodles in at the exact same time. it's just smarter

as pointed out several times already, the whole premise of the breaking pasta argument is predicated on the false assumption that unbroken pasta cooks unevenly. which you would only think if you're a retard who doesn't know you can just push the whole pasta into the water because it softens right away.

Not cooking Spaghetti (27cm) in a stainless steel PAN doesn't make sense. If you don't own a stainless steel pan that is at least 28cm you don't give a fuck about cooking anyway
