i made some quick meal from leftover bread and threw in some onions,peas, chilli and rotisserie chicken leftovers

do you usually try to utilize 'still pretty good' food instead of dumping it in the trash ?

I don’t often modify leftovers except for boiled potatoes or using meat in a sandwich

anything leftover gets put between bread or rolled up in a tortilla. mac and cheese, french fries, chicken salad, greek salad, chili

sometimes i freeze them and don't reheat them (that's what makes them soggy)
just let it thaw a little bit and eat it cold (doesn't work for all sandwich filings tho) if you like cold 'wiches its a plus
