Doesn't seem that way. The only people I see buy plums are Asians, old black ladies and me (a white passing eurasian). Red delicious apples are the whitest fruit. Black and Latin people don't eat apples much and Asians prefer other varieties. I only ever see whites buy those 5lb sacks of red delicious apples.
