I buy dried ones since they're 2x cheaper, just gotta soak them and boil.

As for me (OP) I use them in my biweekly sloppa (for one)
>half can of chickpeas
>half can of tomato paste
>1/4 tsp baking soda
>1 sliced smokie sausage
>little bit of butter
>1/3 packet of pic related and some other seasoning
Mm yes. Proppa sloppa

When I was broke I would crack open a can of these, heat it up and toss it in olive oil, lemon juice, salt and lots of black pepper.
It was okay.

Isn't "proper" falafel made with equal parts fava and chickpeas, rather than only chickpeas?

This is really good:
https://www.bonappetit.com/recipe/chile-lime-clams-with-tomatoes-and-grilled-bread?srsltid=AfmBOorb1zy6aYlkw4y1tokFJkFVFMIyCXbKYld1R9gGJaNSVEq9MbNm

I fuck around with the recipe a bit depending on if I can get decent clams. Sometimes sub shrimp for half the clams, or all, add more cilantro, add a bit of cumin, etc. Great dish.

Yes.
I only ever add them to salads, mash by hand for hummus bil tahina or cook with Algerian style meat and rice (or couscous/tlitli).

Put them in salads, soups, or roast them. You can make them crispy but still soft or crunchy snacks that last for a while. Hummus too but lately I just buy it already made at Costco. Dry chickpeas are obviously a better deal but more work.

No. It's just fava with a small amount of chickpea flour as binder. At least that's how all the ladies at my grandma's church made them.

I ran out of money so ive been making pantry dinner out of pasta and chickpeas. Its alright i guess but theyre much better in curry, rice pilaf, or a salad. Or just roasted.

I only ever use them to make Hummus. But they are like the cheapest main ingredient to go into it. Tahini is fucking expensive. And good EVOO ain't cheap either. But damn if it isn't good. Store bought goes way too light on the tahini because it's by far the most expensive part.

Open a can and drain and rinse. Toss in oil and whatever spices you want. Then air fry for 20mins at 400. Its great for snacking with a movie or show.

Yep, I've noticed this with every premade hummus I've bought. They skimp hard on tahini.
