You just put garlic butter on bread. You don't need a recipe

Let a stick of butter stay out so it gets soft.
Finely mince half a head/bulb of garlic, or get the pre-minced stuff in a jar or tube. (One head is usually 10-12 cloves and 1tsp of pre-minced from a jar = 1 good-sized clove.)
Thoroughly mix the garlic into the butter in a bowl. (It may help to mash the butter kind of flat on the bottom of the bowl, then evenly sprinkle the garlic in.)
Get Italian or French bread (actual French, not a baguette), slice in half.
Spread the garlic/butter mixture liberally on the bread just like you were buttering toast.
Toast the bread in a toaster oven or regular oven, about 350F for 5-6 minutes.
You may need to adjust the oven time or temp (higher temp = more crisper).
Adjust the number of cloves you mash into the butter to taste.

I don't have my recipe book in front of me but I can try to recall my recipe.

Per stick (113g) of unsalted butter (warm/soft):
5-6 cloves fresh garlic either finely minced or preferably (imo) pressed with a garlic press.
1/3 cup (i think thats around 38g but I can't recall with certainty) of parmigiano reggiano thats been diced well in a food processor.
Chopped fresh italian parsley to taste.
Black pepper to taste.
Aleppo or red pepper flakes to taste.
Italian seasoning blend to taste (or just whatever italian dried herbs you have that sound good)
Salt to taste.

Mix all that up well, if its just one stick of butter you can just use a fork but more than that you'll probably want a potato masher or something like that.

Take your bread of choice, i like a good crusty french bread or baguette, slice in half longways then slice it to fit on your broiling pan and place cut side down on broiling pan. Place under the oven broiler briefly to toast it. Take it out and turn it over and apply your butter mix then put it back under the broiler, butter side up, until it looks nice. Slice it up and enjoy. If you dont have a broiler then just use max heat on your oven i guess, it'll take longer and be softer though.
