A tuna salad sandwich is better than maguro sushi in my estimation

Agreed and you won't get parasites from cooked fish. (unlike sushi)

>tuna salad sandwich
How are you supposed to eat these fuckers? The tuna just gets squished out of the sides of the bread when you take a bite. It's such a pain

You just can't over fill it. In my experience, one can of tuna makes two sandwiches. I've tried using a whole can on normal sized sliced bread and had the experience of thou.

Kinda looks like a miga sandwich.

I'm surprised Americans don't have a variety of crustless bread like argie miga bread or japanese shokupan bread given how much you like to remove the crust.

If you're not using lettuce as a barrier between the sandwich filling and the bread, then you're doing it wrong, you idiots. Lettuce acts as a moisture barrier so the bread doesn't become soggy. Use two slices of lettuce, one on the top and one on the bottom of the filling, and you'll suddenly discover just how stupid you've been these past decades.

Tuna salad is fuckng disgusting. Canned tuna is shit. The only way tuna is good is either grilled as a steak or in sushi.
Tuna salad is for geriatrics that have lost their sense of taste and smell

Lettuce sucks, it's arugula or spinach for me. Just raw dogging tuna salad on one side of the bread I've never had a problem with the bread getting soggy, even on the rare occasion I don't toast the bread.
I think you're the idiot for making tuna salad so wet that it gets your bread soggy. I don't even know how you do that, mayo isn't wet, in fact it's used as a moisture barrier for bread in many sandwiches.

Leave a no-tuna zone around the edge. That way, when you press it, the excess will fill the empty space without spilling out of the sandwich.
