Have you ever eaten at a restaurant that refused to let you order food to go?
Do you suppose, at such a restaurant, they would physically restrain you if you brought tupperware containers and spooned your leftovers into them as they looked on in horror?

Are you retarded op? It doesn't say anything about not offering you the option to use to go boxes. They're new and probably trying to figure out if they'll have a bazillion Uber eats order or whatever. It even says they're working on it.

Also before covid it was standard practice to not offer to go orders at dine in restaurants so you're probably 12 or something if you can't remember that.

Why do people still complain about summer like it is still 2004? Smartphones mean that summerposting never ends. You no longer have to wait for stupid teenagers to be home all day to use the internet. The internet lives in their pockets now. It has been this way for like 15 years.

With dine in, the customer's orders aren't brought out all at once, the kitchen won't be swamped, and it's easier to make sure the kitchen isn't a swamped by not overseating the restaurant -- with take-out you need a better grasp of logistic With Uber, the restaurant also has to pay Uber 30%? Risk bad reviews from Uberpests tempering with food or food arriving cold.

Dine-in only specials. They don't want people calling in for pickup or ordering online something that's meant to be on discount for people to sit and buy drinks with and/or share with a group.
Good example would be this greek restaurant bar near me that does half-off 12" pizzas during happy hour. If they were to allow this to go, they might as well just close the bar and be a pizza shop because $7-9 per gourmet pizza is a steal and id never order delivery again

Most classy restaurants have a certified security guard who is authorized to shoot to kill for people who break protocol. I wouldn't suggest trying any 3rd world shenanigans at a place like that.

Pretty much any restaurant except Michelin Stars did doggie bags and takeout orders if you asked.

Yes, every Chinese buffet.

If I brought out a Tupperware in one I think I’d get turned into human rangoons (aka mangoon)
