Make Japanese corn potage. Super delicious, one of those dishes where you look at the ingredients and think it tastes simple or plain, but it's really better than than the sum of its parts.

My grandma and mom used to make the best cream corn and I wish I had their recipe. They would get Illini Super Sweet variety of corn from a farmer down the road. They would cut all of the corn off the cobs, then they would press out all of the juice in the cobs and mix it into the corn. It was a really labor intensive process. I don't remember what else there is to the recipe, but their cream corn was the best I have ever had,
