Yes. If I was homeless I'd prob buy this and $1 bread. These are typically loss leaders. They price them cheaply and lose money selling these to get you in the store because they know you arent gonna buy 20 of them.

The Costco ones are plus they're bigger. Everywhere else doubled the price.

Rotisserie chickens at any major store are generally a good bet. HEB's are like $6 and that's easily 2 meals if I'm being fat, usually it's breakfast & dinner for two days.

Generally yes. You can drag them out for days if you use them as an ingredient and it saves you a ton of time that you don't have to let the chicken simmer for a long time if you make stews and such. Or just shred it and make chicken salad in basically no time.

Are these the Walmart ones? I like the lemon pepper but holy shit, they give me the runs almost immediately after. I don't know if they inject them with something or what but it clears me out. I don't have a WinCo near me here in East LA but those are really good too, just a step below Costco which is the gold standard. The worst is Kroger brand stores, they all have a off taste, maybe old birds or something.

A whole raw chicken is like 8-10 not on sale. They sell these for like 7-8$. I'm gonna guess they make money or at minimum break even
