>>21482855 (OP)10 years ago, I could have told you but I just gave up on them totally.
>>21482855 (OP)Whatever the anons recommended the last time you made this thread
Costco actually has good ethnic foods contrary to the frozen slop elsewhere. I like their Korean food. There should be beef golgi ready to be heated in a skillet and frozen gimbap.
That place is pretty much impossible to shop at unless you're ok stocking up for the zombie apocalypse and have a second freezer and a storage unit downstairs, notice how the only customers are food truck guys and 3-generation households from ozone park
>>21482855 (OP)I lose my appetite everytime I go there due to the extreme number of indians that smell like spices
I like their mussels, clams, and ground beef. They’re also one of the only places around here (South US) that sells pork belly that isn’t pre-sliced. The ginger lemon kombucha is nice, but I don’t like their other flavors. The Greek yogurt and eggs are decent. They also have a good amount of Asian ingredients and dishes. I hate their yogurt crème bars, waste of money.
>>21482876Its almost like its a retailer that specializes in bulk amounts of food meant for more than one person or something
>>21482876You have never literally never been to a Costco. 95% of customers are normal suburban families or even couples. But if the membership fee is keeping you out, it's doing its job.
>>21483000I wish Indians smelled like spices. That'd be a huge improvement over what they actually smell like.
>>21482876Most people call a storage unit downstairs a basement.
>>21483408I wish it kept out more people
Costco is always stuffed with assholes
eggs and dairy
produce if you can reasonably go through 10 pounds of onions or whatever
booze
>>21482855 (OP)Fish and meats are good
Appliances or furnature if you don't feel like shopping around
Cheap imported stuff is usually pretty good and much cheaper than elsewhere
I like getting eggs and butter and bacon and heavy cream and one whole rib roast that I can cut into steaks and then freeze individually
>>21483570>meatsYes, a decent buy, although the steaks are blade tenderized which fedora-tipping redditors won't like.
>AppliancesSmall electrics are hit or miss, be prepared to use the liberal return policy. Large appliances can be a nightmare, they use 3rd party installers who often don't give a fuck (if reviews are to be believed), a hassle even if you do eventually get satisfaction from Costco.
>>21483598are those like internet eggs or like vaporized eggs?
>>21482855 (OP)Hotdog and soda. I find them good for breaks in long trips in here.
I like their penne pasta chicken alfredo, I would eat if I could
I have one of these about 10 minutes away. I live on my own is it worth bothering with this instead of going to Aldi like normal?
>>21483408>normal suburban families Yes, 3-generation households from ozone park. What part do you dispute?
>>21483528Yeah, it's in the basement. One just went on the market last month, they want $79k for it. Too rich for my blood, but I suspect it's already been sold and I didn't notice (I've been too busy with more important things like arguing about fast food with LLMs on 4chan)
>>21483717>I live on my own is it worth bothering with this instead of going to Aldi like normal?Meh, I have a membership from when I lived at home with family and I might only go once a month now that I live alone
Bulk items that keep (paper towels, TP, coffee, crackers, etc.) are worth it, but I wouldn't say go out of your way if you live alone.
>>21485791Yeah I found someone on youtube who walks around the stores in our area and I'm not sure I need 4.2 kg of ground beef or a 3kg pork loin, I don't think their bulk chicken breast prices are any different to Aldi and what I eat for lunch is usually a ham & cheese sandwich and I don't think I'd get through their 900g pack of ham before it went off so I'd need to start using a vacuum sealer and freezing stuff. Plus my freezer is pretty small.
>>21482855 (OP)i only really like the 2 pack baguettes (let them get stale they are great with coffee that way) but my dad has a real passion for kirkland whiskey
Water, meat, vegetables, fruit, bread, cereal, eggs, milk, cheese, cakes, nuts, snacks, coffee, tea, wine, liquor, kitchenware, vitamins, pet food, toothpaste, toilet paper, household goods, sheets, furniture, prescription glasses, jewelry and watches, tools, batteries, tires
Y'know, the basics
Also pizzas and 1.50 dogs
