I used to think this but I just have it less and less these days. Not even trying to quit, just don't particularly care for it any more, don't want to feel like I'm tied down to one cup a day.

are you sure? a few months ago at the end of an evening of drinking i made myself a 1:1 expresso/bourbon concoction just before bed and while it tasted great it led to me having a nightmarish evening wherein i was completely wasted on like a liter of hard liquor but was still unable to fall properly asleep aside from micro losses of consciousness

I feel like I have less overall energy when I drink coffee. It seems to just give you a full blast of energy at the expense of having spent so much so quickly. For me, it has a negative impact on my body when drinking it for several days in a row. Honestly, clean eating makes you feel a lot better than a quick, cheap and easy fix from a cup of coffee.
