Went down to the food distribution today and they were giving away tons of steak, pork chops, beef and pork ribs and the like so I loaded up a cooler but then I saw this...

Bone in Pork Chops precooked. I thought it queer since I have never had precooked bone in pork chops so I thought I'd might ask you guys how best to cook it.

I'm thinking either cover in pork shake & bake or season somehow once it thaws and pan fry it on medium both sides for 7 minutes.

Any thoughts?

Thank you.

This two pack of ribs don't appear to be. Smithfield is a Chinese commie company I know.

they're honestly pretty good just seared in the pan if you've ever had like prepackaged cooked ham or ham patties. Pretty much tastes like it

Thanks. Do they require any seasoning? The look kinda plain to me. I know people like rosemary and thyme with pork.

Huh? You don't have to sign up or be poor. Just show up. It's a weekly distribution by truck different places in the town each week. I get so much good stuff here for free. Produce, meats, seafood.

I do pretty well and I don't need to work so I go in at noon every few weeks. I pay an exorbitant amount in property taxes for my acreage so this is how I get some of it back.

Anyways, all this is off topic. Stay on topic. Seasonings?

Here's a thought. What if I used a pork rib rub for a couple hours before I cook.

I put some rosemary, thyme, paprika on it with pepper and pan fried in half canola, half bacon grease from some bacon wrapped scallops I made from costco. It leaked alot of liquid making it harder to brown but it eventually did. I dumped the rest of the seasoning and gunk in the pan on top and it was pretty good but quite salty. Not bad. Not really good, but great for the price with the bacon wrapped scallops.

Any tips how best to use the Kirkland scallops? I remember one guy said he wrapped crab meat around them when making crab cakes and that sounds pretty good. I'll have to buy the crab meat I guess.

It comes mostly from Wegmans last day stuff I was told which is where I shop anyways also costco. Wegmans also donates the produce and even really good stuff like cereal that doesn't expire till December. It's a mix.

Wegmans makes their own rye and other multi grain breads that were still fresh a few months ago when I was getting free leftover corned beef for st Patrick's day.

Really guys, you should get in on it it's really pricy food normally. Sometimes it's older but I've never had a bad batch. Scallops are expensive but they were always frozen so still perfectly fine.

Get some of your property taxes back from the dumb libs. The Hispanics shouldn't get it all. Now about the rest of these sea scallops... ideas?
