I can imagine any european trying their hand at a cheesesteak would fuck up every step of the way. using the wrong bread, wrong cheese, a fraction of the amount of steak any american place would put on it (which they can’t even be bothered to shave) served with some stupid inappropriate sauce

Europe would never be able to recreate the sweet HCFC cake bread though. Plastic 'cheese' we could find in a cheap supermarket but as for the Steroid/Hormone/ mRNA vaccine/Fecal filled bland beef . . . .we probably couldn't do it, our hygiene and safety regulations are too strict.
