I'm not opposed to the concept but most of these (like your pic) use the Krispy kreme style donut which is sugary as fuck. Something less sweet like a McGriddle works much better.

Never had the opportunity to try but I'm not opposed to the idea. I know KFC had a meme donut chicken sandwich at one point but I didn't know until late.

Closest I've had is chicken and waffles you can buy at Disney world. They're really good although i liked it more the first time cause it had spicyness. i dont know if they changed the recipe or what but wasn't like that last time.

a few years ago walmart had 3 weird frozen sandwiches and i think one of them involved a glazed donut, and another with spicy jelly and ham, the third had chicken?

I tried making The Luther at home, and I found if it's not prioritizing form over function, it shouldn't be a brewery style stacked burger but kind of flat like a smash burger so it doesn't fall apart the second you try to hold it
