Weird, where I am walnuts are mid to high as nuts go. Certainly more expensive than almonds but not as much as pecans or cashews. Pistachios are in-between walnuts and pecans typically. The most expensive by far are pine nuts.

Last time I checked the price of pistachios was about a decade ago. Just checked my local supermarket's website and they're up 50% since then which is about the same as everything else.
