Why would Albertsons do this, boys?

This picture was taken on the 22nd, was on the shelf two days by the time it was seen. Now mind you, I've never seen any type of hot dog prepared at the hot foods section.

Why? Sometimes you just want a chili cheese dog and you don't want to big a whole bag of buns, a whole pack of hot dogs, etc and maybe there's no place near you that serves them. This is a good answer.

Can't speak to why they'd have this wrapped on a shelf but not also at the hotbar, but barring that mystery these types of things are for people who need a quick lunch during their break, that either don't have time for a restaurant or fast food and don't want to pay their prices. It's way cheaper than any hot dog joint I've frequented, those are $5+ for one, often approaching $10 after a drink and chips or fries

I imagine the bun must be extremely soggy, would it be possible to get anything back from reheating? Just seems like it's going to be mush one way or another.

Part of me also wonders if they somehow had leftover ingredients from other types of meals and threw this together as a way to possibly loss of a few cents? I'm not familiar with how these stores work, but does anyone know if a grocery will try and consolidate items to avoid loss?

My local grocery has frozen nuggets, but non brand, not in a sealed bag. They're portioned and wrapped on the same foam trays that the butcher sells raw meat on. They also don't have nuggets at the hot bar (but do have corn dogs, which are also sold loose like the nuggets).
I'm convinced if the Tysons pass expiration they open them bitches up and repackage them with a new sell-by
Could also be syscoslop but why buy bulk nuggets when you already sell dino nuggies at premium right next to them? One thing to note is they always look freezer burned too, like the same ones have been sitting there for a year so Idk who would buy them

Japanese will wrap everything in plastic and you don't make 2 squeeks, you little weeb faggot

Also, just look in your garbage if you don't have an organic bin. Plastic, metal, food, all fucking mixed up. It's fucking terrible. We can never go back to 1500 AD.

I’d expect so too but this might be for the boomer audience that would eat it with a knife and fork anyway
