Guy Faggetti calling Bourdain a meth addict. Some fucking faggot listening to 'Animals' by Nickelback had the gaul to say that a man who travelled the world experiencing food the way it was meant to be enjoyed was beneath him.
Guy can lick my sweaty nutsack for being such a milquetoast piece of human excriment.

I've never heard of this person, but Bourdain offing himself instantly made me disinterested in everything he did. I used to quite like him but a switch flipped, never finished the series I was partly through and never watched anything else. Chefsom kinda sucks and leads to substance abuse. So not surprising this person followed in that vein.

how do you even kill yourself on a mixture of alcohol, allergy pills, benadryl, and amphetamines

I think Bourdain was more into heroin - but I don't remember him being specific about his drug use in his book.

>Working at a restaurant with a bakery section in it.
>Manning the ovens one day.
>The main one has some hiccups because of lack of maintenance so production is behind schedule with just a little, electric one.
>Oven gets repaired and everything is normal, albeit with bread coming out later than usual.
>Lunch hour arrives.
>Most of the vienna rolls served are still in the oven.
>Floor manager insists on taking them out undercooked and to bake another batch barely through proofing because lunch is being served at that moment.
>I insist on slicing and serving some of the already baked bread on display, like baguettes and rich dough, white loaves.
>He says no.
>Keeps pulling rank and telling me he'll get me fired if I don't obey.
>I say no.
>He opens the oven and takes some trays to pour them on a cart to take to the kitchen.
>The bread is basically ruined in my head; the steam part was interrupted and that pale, undercooked bread will crumple easily.
>He only had to wait five to ten more minutes.
>Put the other bread in the oven on his behalf, barely at the proper temperature and with the rolls being pitifully small.
>They were served them anyway.
>Two or three people complained but that's it.
>Felt like shit through the rest of the week.
>Resigned two months later.
I have an autistic obssession with and respect for bread and that was my first job so I would take every part, every step in the process with a lot of care. I would stay extra time without caring about getting it paid, help in other areas to learn, read about recipes that we didn't make there to learn about how breadmaking works and more, but that was some kind of reality check for me; the business owner and management only cared about putting some bread by a soup or pasta that people barely eats anyways.
After that day, any other job became just a gig for me and I do the bare minimum most of the time.
Sorry for the blogpost.

This is how everyone's first job goes. I did the same thing. My first year at my first job I didn't take a single sick day or use any vacation. Worked my ass off every day for 12 dollars an hour, 70 hours a week. Then one day they asked me to do 7 days a week so I just walked out. Unless you get a holy grail job youre just going or be a body.

Didn’t Bourdain talk shit first, something along the lines of “I look at people like Guy Feiri and am just thankful I’m not him”.
At least Feiri had the balls to be direct and factual.

I hate guy fieri but I really fucking hated Tony. What a miserable piece of shit. I watched two episodes of one of his faggot shows; in one, he goes to Greece, hangs out at the beach the whole time with a bunch of Greek chads, eating fresh seafood, fresh caught octopus, and just acting miserable and bitching about it the whole time. In the other, he went to some dirt hole jungle country, ate random leaves and boiled fish semen, and acted like he found heaven on earth in some shithole rife with constant horrible human rights abuses.
Guy's worst offense is that he does the same thing every time, goes to some flyover burger bar, says "wow that's really good" and that's the show. Tony was an insufferable faggot and I'm glad that he killed himself like a retarded pussy.

Imagine walking through europe and when you ask where you are people just shrug and say gaul. You do this for six months and eventually settle for a hairy wife and some sheep. not bad.

Then anthony bourdain from new jork comes along he demands to know exactly where he is at all times and to have only the best negronis while hoping everyone does the same. Then he gets a bit devious and checks out.

I know this is a joke, but I've watched both of them now and Fieri is infinitely more entertaining and real than Bourdain. Bourdain will say a thousand words and convey nothing. I will never understand the appeal of Bourdain, even random youtubers like BEFRS and Weins feel more genuine and entertaining.

It wasn't your fault, lil bro. You did the right thing and stood up to that ass. Try making an cottage industry bakery, selling orders of bread and rolls over facebook to wine moms out of your house. Most states/countries have special allowances and exceptions to let you do that. Then you can be the autistic perfectionist you need to be, and recapture some of the lust for life you're currently missing.

It seems like if The Business doesn't fuck you up psychologically, then succumbing to hedonism resulting from success will fuck you up just as bad. Anyone who's seemingly keeping it together is just an absolute dick like Fieri or that one Korean chef treating his kitchen staff like absolute shit. David something, I forget his name.
