Fellas, whens the last time you treated yourself to some good old MCDs? I ate 17 dollars worth of it today and it was the best decision I've made in a long time!

I pretty much stopped ordering anything out a couple years ago, with some rare exceptions.

One Saturday morning last munt I was hungover as fucking shitballs and hopped on the computer and ordered a shitton of McDix to be delivered to my doorstep.

It comprised of 3 hashbrowns, a McCafe coffee, a coca cola, and a sausage and a bacon mcmuffing. It was still disappointing as always, but it saved my life. I was back on my feet within a couple hours after a nap. I always forget how fucking spot-on those hashbrowns are. Probably the greatest non-Filet-o-Fish menu item they have.

Cost me like $40 or some shit too, blech.

Six months ago maybe, we were tired and hungry and it was the only place around. It wasn't awful, but I can't see going there again unless we were desperate.

Yeah ordering food for delivery anywhere is always bad. Lettuce or veg is wilted and gross, fries and things are soggy and cold, stuff gets tossed around everywhere in the bag, expensive delivery fees plus tax, plus tip. $30 for a meal that would have cost you $12 if you drove down the street.
Only thing still worth ordering is pizza. Pizza was made for delivery, plus its one of the few things still out there that hasnt exploded in price.

I hate the kiosks, I hate how the workers don't give a shit, how they fuck up my order even when I use the kiosks. The food is the same as it was 40 years ago.

I went a couple days ago actually first time since the scamdemic. I wrote this a few days ago for my memoirs. I'll copy paste it here. I haven't revised it for grammar etc as I only do that every month or so.

Just went to McDonald's for the first time in about six years. Let me paint the experience for you. Only a single 36 inch or so television showing the menu and another television showing a picture of me for whatever reason. I was waiting for a minute to scroll for to see what I wanted to order. Still nobody... still waiting... nobody... eventually after quite literally five minutes soneone shows up. Finally chose the double cheeseburger and spicy mcchildren. Why? Cuz it's hot and the other is beefy.

First mistake was totally on me. I accidentally said mcdouble not double cheeseburger because if you get that, you can get the next sandwich for only a dollar more. So I got that refunded and put the order in. I can't even see the kitchen anymore, it's behind a wall.

So I got the meal... it was a mcdouble. So I returned it and waited even longer for them to make a double cheeseburger.

Now the food: double cheeseburger is pretty much how I remember it but the bread was stale and hard like it was day old bread or worse. The baker in the back who gets up early should be ashamed they are selling the same bread days later. The hot and spicy mcchildren? You get that initial punch of spiciness then nothing. No chicken flavor at all and not juicy in the least bit. Very terrible sandwich now.

I should have just stuck with Wendys. Well, I did. I went there too for a 4 for 4 with an extra free 6 piece nuggets since it's Wednesday and a free Frosty because of my key tag.

Had it a couple of times while on holiday in Europe recently. Was surprised that you could buy beer at McDonald's in Italy. Here's a pic from when I had it at my hotel in Milan. I took the bedside table and cuck chair from the room and put them on the balcony and enjoyed myself.

It does the job but its disappointing compared to literally any other fast food.
The only good thing about it is the Mcgriddles and that the cheap combo allows you to get two nugget sides, rather than be forced to get a cheap soda and fries like over at Wendys.

I stopped going to fast food burger places altogether when I worked for a tech company that did work for a major chain and I would get free food often. It makes for a noticeable discomfort and I get gas that would make an Indian fresh after a swim in the Ganges gag.
I generally eat incredibly clean. So, I suppose preservatives and things deep fried in seed oils messes me up now that I’m getting older.
Plus, it’s ultimately horribly overpriced garbage that always seems better in the moment where you’re hungry or hungover but then is always a terrible letdown and immediately a regrettable disappointment. It’s basically OP’s mother in food form.

Hey funny you mention it, I ordered a $5 McChicken meal deal using the McDonald’s app yesterday and when I arrived they had locked the front door as they closed the lobby. I grabbed a wagie’s attention through the window as they were mopping and showed them my mobile order, and I could clearly see my paid for and ready food on the counter. Instead of grabbing it, he talks to his manager for 2 minutes and she motions for me to use the drive through, but I had walked and indicated so, so she simply shrugged. I walked up to the drive through and the person answering said “sorry we don’t take walk ups” so I respond “yeah I know, sorry, your manager indicated that I need to come through here, I have a mobile order that I’ve paid for already on your counter, can I just get it through a window or door please?” I wait for a response for 3 minutes assuming they were just going to talk to their manager before I realize this braindead fuck had actually just ignored me and didn’t bother to give me either a “sorry can’t do it” or a “I’ll go ask.” Anyway I have now been checking my bank account daily for my refund to hit, as I called their store for it and they told me it will take a week. Should I not receive it I will be calling them daily for about a month or until I get bored. I buy my sloppa from BK now.

I don't think I've had mcdonalds before 11pm or after 10:30am in over a decade. They're either last resort food for when everything else is closed or you want the breakfast bad enough to make the trip that early.

McDonald's was originally just a kebab shop which sold boxed burgers, fries, milk, coffee and was $1.
Cook the burgers before they're ordered, use a deep fat fryer, a baine marrie. Easy.

Now McDonald's is an evil corporate Cafe, that costs 16 times more than it originally did, is constantly jewing with the menu, employees only kids and has enough industrial machinery to assemble a car. It's only efficient because of labour law issues. They're experts at tax evasion and lawsuit evasion. That's why McDonald's is a massive corporate, not a single famous burger shop. Not a single one of their million stores is good, notable, or authentic.

I work at McDonald's currently and thank God Im about to quit. After seeing how it's assembled, and the lack of cleanliness, I'll never eat their slop again.
The fry grease is putrid and 6 inches of gunk builds up at the bottom doesn't get changed as often as it should because the other maintenance guy is a worthless piece of shit, so it only gets changed the days I work.
The managers are a bunch of lazy fucking idiots, that don't know shit but expect you to do their job as well as yours, and the line workers aren't much better.
