>>21507970Meanwhile, I'm doing perfectly valid couponing and getting chastised for it. Last week, I got a BUNCH of items completely for free because I coupon and the till girl got a bit pissy about it saying that I'm basically taking money out of the store's pockets. Bitch, I'm following the times the store set out. They have a sale where the item is a dollar and a policy of doubling the face value of paper coupons and I have a bunch of 50¢ off coupons IE every coupon = a free item.
She also got pissy because one item I got was meant to be 75% off, didn't ring up that way and the store has a policy of getting the item free if the scan price doesn't match the shelf price. Yes, I want that item for free, fuck you.
As a result, I wound up getting my purchases 86% off the sticker price, paid $5-something for what would have otherwise been a $36-something purchase.
That's not scamming.
That's being smart with what little money we have nowadays.
