>be me
>go to an asian food hall
>me and my mom decide to get some pho
>I order a shrimp one, nothing much
>it's pretty spicy, surprised because I didn't specify I wanted it spicy but still pretty good nonetheless
>start relentlessly sweating bullets down my face
>a couple minutes later my hearing starts to fade, like how your ears get muffled when you blow your nose very hard into a tissue
>I stand up from my pho to ask them for some water
>as I'm waiting in line I start to lose feeling in my feet
what the hell happened?

Could be a shellfish allergy, some folks develop it later in life. Try just eating shrimp and see if it happens again, but also be careful.

desu people say seafood is the most healthy meat but the reality is that it spoils much easier than the others, gets easily contaminated, can come from shoddy sources.

I'm a very picky eater when it comes to seafood, particularly in foreign countries.

who the hell orders "shrimp pho"?
Pho is beef broth, beef topped soup. The only variation is to ask for specific cuts on top of your steaming beef broth.

To deviate from beef pho is newbs. The same kind of people who order chicken pho, I guess.. It's simply not done. I stopped reading right there. Sorry for your bad experience. Blame yourself. Pho is not hot.

>Pho is beef broth
Why make an incorrect statement so confidently? You clearly don't know what you're talking about, so why did you feel the need to try and correct someone?

>so maybe that could've been something

You were probably having a reaction to all of the mercury and other heavy metals that had accumulated in the shrimp you ate.

Don't eat seafood, it's poison. Only eat beef or pork or chicken.

Chorizo is a broad concept. That's like saying sandwiches are British.
Obviously Mexicans make their own spicy version.

I’ve eaten pho more times at more restaurants than anyone on this board, some of the best in the country, and not once have I ever had one that was spicy. You can add chili crisp, jalapeños, etc, but it’s not supposed to come out of the kitchen spicy. It sounds like you got a racist chef who wanted to teach white boy a lesson. Some pho restaurants are extremely racist and refuse to server white people. I walked into a restaurant in Broomfield Colorado one time next to the Asian fish market, not a single person in there, and was told I couldn’t eat because they were full. I heard from many people that they wouldn’t serve white people there and it turned out to be true. I don’t really trust Asians which is why I stopped going to their restaurants.
