I enjoy the game and the males put out are quality. I enjoy some of the females too so it isn't a problem. I really only like Jiyan and Brant though out of the limited males but thats ok. I just want Geshu Lin, he has to come sometime.

Yeah, it is looking a little bleak on the male character front right now. It's a gacha game and I knew what I was signing up for but it's still kind of sucky. Especially considering wuwa launched with a pretty decent male to female ratio.

The game itself is a lot of fun and, while it's not the most amazing thing, I do enjoy the story. It's why the lack of men isn't a complete deal breaker for me. Like you said, the few we do get are quality. I just wish there was a bit more of that quality.

While I still think we might get Geshu Lin somewhere down the road, I've kind of lost faith that Scar will ever become a playable character.

It still feels odd that Jiyan is still my favorite guy in this game and honestly it isn't even close with the others.

Judging from Lupa's design, Septimont is probably going the Greco-Roman route...

They could throw in some new 4-stars at least, it's been fucking ages and I've pretty much got all the ones I want to build S6'd. What with the insane banner line-up of Cantarella, Shokie rerun, Zani, Ciaconna, Carty and now Lupa back to back, many, even some of the most antihomo "m-m-mixed toilet_!111"-fags are starting to unironically wish for male banner as a breather.

I like his design a lot actually. It's simple but flows nicely. And he looks reserved and gloomy which is right up my alley, personally. His color scheme makes me curious if he's connected to Jianxin in someway But the dragon emblem there is definitely not Jue so he's probably from somewhere else in Huanglong.
Maybe a part of Huanglong that isn't a clambake? One can dream...

I like it as well. I think he looks like a recolored Jing Yuan from SR though. That isnt really a bad thing for me though as JY is one of my favorite designs in the game. It is nice to have something to save for instead of just tossing pulls out just because. Still wish we got Geshu Lin though.

Kuro is going to severely disappoint A LOT of people if they don't do anything with Geshu Lin (and Scar). I've even seen some avid waifu collectors show an interest in them.

I think GL is going to come out as another threnodian one. I do feel they have something for him that is planned. Honestly I was never interested in Scar. I would much rather have Christiforo at this point as he seems far more interesting. I do get that people want Scar though. I think New Federation might give us one or the other or hints at it honestly. It seems like a place prison break Scar could end up or GL could just be anywhere really.

My god me too. I know people think his design is more like an NPC and I somewhat initially agreed, but with him taking a more central role in the story recently he's quickly becoming one of my favourites. I was expecting/hoping he'd be added eventually as a 4*, but with the 2.4 trailer his role in the story seems much bigger than we first thought, more fitting for a limited character. I've seen people speculating that [spoiler]he's 'obviously' going to die[/spoiler], which I can't outright deny considering his plainer design but I'm going to keep huffing hopium and see where things go.

Geshu Lin is absolutely coming at some point, I'm so ready for some suffering kino. Getting some Threnodian resonators would be some cool shit. Scar is a no brainer too, and though he's not quite my type I have to admit the memes have made him quite endearing, will probably throw some pulls his way once he's out.

Yeah, it's heavily implied that Geshu is still around. Anything outright stating he died seems to have been carefully avoided. It would be kind of silly if Kuro went through that effort only to never do anything with the character. Especially now that more has been revealed about the Threnodians. Then again... he's a male character in a Kuro game... so I'm personally keeping my hopes... mild.

I'll admit, I'm definitely a Scar wanter (mostly because of his backstory) but I also adore Cristoforo. I'm pleasantly surprised that he doesn't seem to be relegated to 'elite mook' status and is actually being given a more active role. I would love to see him playable but I don't really foresee that happening. My personal prediction is that he might be taking over Phrolova's role.

Honestly, if I had my way, Fenrico would become a playable character but that's pie in the sky level wishfulness.

Even with Cristoforo shaping up to be another favourite of mine, I still love this nigga like you wouldn't believe. New Federation is so far away... hope he gets some content.

Qiuyuan looks like a neat character. I'm totally looking forward to his release when his banner will be overshadowed by the drip marketing of a big boob waifu, he'll show up for half a second in the story with little to no relevance and may or may not receive a bland and mediocre companion quest.

Maybe I'm not looking in the right places but I'm surprised that there hasn't been more of an uptick in Cristoforo fanart
