The end scene itself is metaphorical and Yoko is a snake, so there are multiple ways to interpret that scene. My favorite part is the contrast of just how distant they initially were, the wary and resentful Vkun, and the robot following orders of the voice in his head. They position tsukibino above, placing his blade and the memory below in the same line of sight. The look in his eyes, you could see the feeling anyone who's ever grieved knows, where you would give anything to just go back in time, the moments you took for granted. It drives you mad.
