I've always thought that Teach would make for a good site mascot, like Yotsuba is for this website. He's very simple, but also very cute and recognizable. I realize, however, that any sort of mascot-using forum released today would probably use some lineless Reddit snoo thing instead of something like Teach-kun.

Awesome! I'm glad someone else likes it.
Although I'm glad that the webseries is relatively obscure (small fandoms are comfy), it gets a little lonely when the only other fans are Japanese Twitter artists.
Teach the Cat sort of reminds me of those Spanish MSPaint shows that used litter YouTube in the 2010s, except it's cute and all of the characters are just like me. It's charming.

I really like this webseries. It's simple, nonsensical and strange but oddly moving.

I will take advantage of the fact that there's someone else in the thread now to recommend another piece of media that, while technically unrelated to Teach the Cat, is spiritually very very similar - in that it's also cute and crudely (almost childishly) made but deeply raw, personal and lightly sad...
