I have drawn a couple of shos, but not nearly as many as I have living in my head.

I usually write details about their designs ("he has blue hair, this thing, also this..") on some texts.
I have Hydrus Network and a gallery full of images of different kinds of characters that I associate with my OC's.
So some shota art I saved is because it reminds me of my own characters.
Then I get models on Blender (Some made for different programs like SFM, MMD, XPS etc but with addons so they're converted to Blender) and pose them around, then take screenshots and draw them over on Krita, with a mouse.
So I get to figure out their character designs, even if tracing and other shit is involved.
