Multiple boards of pitch artwork (along with a short intro script) for a rejected 1992 Disney animated series called "Warp Wilde" by animator Tad Stones have been posted online on an auction site.

The pitched show would've focused on a Jetsons-esque futuristic family starring Warp Wilde, his father Wayne, his mother Wanda, his teenage sister Wendy and his friend Lynx.

>The original concept for "Warp Wilde" followed an military man in the future who got demoted to become the guardian of the kids of extraterrestrial ambassadors. The kids then joined him as he continued to investigate the galactic Gandi trying to bring down the Intergalactic Federation, and got in the way as only kids are able to do.

>Due to company politics at the time, the pilot was re-written without Stones and re-developed and pitched as a show after a futuristic family. That pitch was ultimately not picked up because of its similarities to The Jetsons. The list is not set in stone due to the fact that the afternoon schedules were wildly different per city. Disney Afternoon back then was played across a few hundred network affiliates, who each had their own program director and their own boards in control. So they could go with the suggested lineup, or they could change it on a whim if they decided. It was not like Cable where a single channel was replayed to everyone in the country.

Gummi Bears was never a Disney Afternoon cartoon in Orlando. The original lineup was Ducktales, Chip/Dale, Talespin and Darkwing. Then Ducktales was dropped and Goof Troop was added at the end. Each year they did the same, drop the oldest show, add the new one.

Except Schnookums and Meat, that was only on for a couple months then taken off. The Disney Afternoon block just ended at 4:30 and Mighty Max took it's place.

Styles for pitch art are all over the place. Had this actually been greenlit, it almost definitely would have gone through overhauls to make it fit Disney's brand. If you've primarily seen pitch decks floating around here, you may not know how much the characters change since those are created for internal use after a show is already greenlit and redesigned. The art used for the initial pitch to a network is usually *very* different.

In other words, the show would have most likely looked less Bluthian and more Disney had it actually been greenlit.

It's because Radio Disney and Disney wanting to synergize it with their kid/teen actors. Once shows like Lizzie and Steves showed that there's still a market for those type of shows, Disney went all in. Alright, as promised, an idea for a redesign /character change. I find the mom looks kinda uninteresting and so thought, what if Wayne instead is a single dad. In the adventure setting, not the sitcom. Let's just say years ago his wife got eaten by a Spotted Space-Borrblovon on a mission or something of the sort. Gone. Perhaps the troublemaker he's after had tangentially something to do with it.
He's still doing the same stuff as in the original idea, but this alien lady (lets call her Vega, to be similar but different to the W-names, and with a bit of an intergalactic tinge) joins him, either through official channels or on her own due to similar goals. Design wise inspired by grey aliens, but yellow to be less dull a color, I felt there wasn't quite enough warm colors yet. Could also be green, but not like Lynx.
Went for "flesh" hair as most characters already have regular hair but completely bald would look out of place and unfeminine. Can still be styled a bit, it's not asari-like (simply visually funnier that way e.g. done up in an impossible big hairdo for one scene). Added that thing on her forehead to a) fill otherwise empty space and b) create a bit of similarity with the robot. Thinking she'd be a bit more posh than Wayne and brought the maid with her, the dot being a cultural thing of their entire planet.
Wayne and Vega's relation would be just friend/companionship (perhaps even professional initially), but as time goes on she falls head over heels for him which he isn't aware of. Would make for some romance and perhaps drama, but more in the background (it's a kids show afterall) with only few episodes actually focusing on it. Maybe the kids would find out and help her, but not before putting her through some amusing "trials".
General note, I don't like those wide rimmed shoes, it's alright on a guy maybe but especially on the lady it looks unproportional.

Also you don't need necessarily need a powerful system to generate these stable diffusion LoRA models on your own PC. The Civitai system will let you use theirs, but only after you've gathered enough of their virtual reputation / interaction points on their system. This is mostly to keep system abuse away.

I've been told Google will also let you train LoRAs on their system... I think (though I am much less familiar with that).

There doesn't seem to be much fleshing out for the sister character in the documents. I think she is pretty much there to fill out the role of a teenage daughter you see in sitcoms. I personally would have a running joke in the series about her being a robot the parents bought to have a babysitter for Warp Wild.
