I agree with the folks who claim the art looks like ass, which is the main reason I read any books, whether they are gay or simply action/mystery, SF, western, etc. The only story I really read with the Arnie/Steve one, which had OK art but I thought wasn't as good as the Arnie story from - what, the 65th Anniversary special or one of those one shots from say a decade or more ago? It essentially threads the same ground except this one feels like the writer is trying to suggest there was something between them in the past or post serum, and even as a gay guy, that's totally unnecessary, especially since it apes some of the Bucky/Steve beats pre-serum, which I think will just confuse the fuck out of normies and casuals.

That's my own personal preference, but I don't require it in my art. I can appreciate a well drawn woman, even if I have no interest in them.
My problem isn't necessarily that some of the guys are drawn as twinks or a thin stick figures, it's the SAMENESS of the drawings. Even in that Black Cat story, where the artist was, I feel, aiming for voluptuousness, they all have a same-face/same body quality and are just in boring panels, boring poses, boring over-all art.
