Yo, I'm a tourist from outside /co/ and I came here specifically to ask what the fuck is going on with Bob's Burgers
the TV runs it in the middle of the night when nobody's watching, after more popular adult cartoons.
I can't help but sit and wonder what the fuck the show is supposed to be. Who does it appeal to?
The entire show is as if they're so scared they might accidentally incite any sort of emotion in someone that they toned it down as much as possible.
such amazing plots as:
>let's do something, but actually let's not
>let's almost develop a character, but then let's not
I assumed it only exists because it costs pennies to make those literal bowling pin characters with ZERO facial expressions and emotions and have them stand there talking in front of static backgrounds.
Seriously, I saw one of the backgrounds have some sort of boiling issue as it scrolled across, that's how little they care.
Then I realized that despite already costing fucking nothing to draw and animate, those are probably 3D fucking models. Because it isn't cheap enough slop yet.
This show is the most aggressively bland thing I've ever seen. what the fuck is this show?
