I don't know you're mixing people up, but the creator is Fred Perry and he's been in the business for decades. I saw gold digger comics in my local shop in the early 90s, and I bought them.
And, if it's what you're thinking, then yes, he's responsible for a library of NSFW comics, some orginal, some 34, and even some on his own properties, which blew my mind when I found out.
He's work in both in safe and not safe.
