>148983465 I'm so fucking sick of coomers. I don't give a shit if you stick to jerking off in your own threads to loli porn or whatever, but shut the fuck up and stay out of actual discussions. >hurr durr bad show is good because I can jerk off to it hurr durr durr
It got "renewed" before it aired, like usual with these streaming frauds. Just a few shills talked about it for a week and it fell off a cliff like it was called Star Wars.
>>148984314 History goes they wanted to have Jessica Jones originally, presumably got denied.
>>148982336 (OP) I liked the idea of it. >How would MCU Spider-Man go if Tony wasn't present from the beginning? And I liked Osborne and Scorpion well enough. I am not interested in seeing S2 though.

>>148985139 Yeah, but they could still use his classic supporting cast.

>>148994961 yeah. I heard they did a good job with Scorpion(as in, making him a serious villain and not a jobber) so I was considering watching it

>>148989597 >The show acknowledged she liked girls, so there's basically no way they are gonna have her and peter get together. Way to make the protag look even more like a loser.
>>148995659 They're more than friends objectively speaking, in the span of a few months even, and only all the 12 Nico fans and the showrunners deny it.
>>148990483 You'd bring up any qualities of this show instead of wanking to best quality Tomei if that were the case.
>>148996222 I don't know, she referred to him as a brother halfway through the show. They had a chance to change that in the scene where they reconciled, but they just doubled down instead. I think they decided not to go down that route pretty early on.
As lame as Spider-Gwen is, I think they'll probably just pair Peter up with her.
>>148997902 Influence from Romita's style(NOT Ditko as so many people seem to think it's neither but it's closer to Romita). He drew defined jawstructure and smile/cheek lines which can make characters look older.
>>148984314 >Do they want to make her his love interest A modern Marvel property would never let Peter be happy and they've hinted that she's interested in Pearl and Harry.
>>148986575 The whole show feels like they wanted to make a Miles show take place in the MCU before they changed course into a Peter show with awkward acknowledgements to MCU events (like the CIvil War airport fight) but not actually being in the MCU
Can somebody with development knowledge explain to me this?
I first heard of this show around two or 3 years ago at this point. And Iโm CERTAIN the initial announcements were that it was supposed to be a prequel show, set in the MCU, basically showing Peter as Spider-Man before Tony found him and civil war happened.
So presumably him in his shitty home made suits, more original explanations, more minor villains since he shouldnโt be handling crazy city threatening events yet
Did plans change? Or did they not announce it was set in the MCU and this was misinterpreted somewhere?
>>149004544 First announcement was an MCU prequel, then they clarified it would be it's own side continuity inspired by it, then they quietly ditched the MCU attachment entirely a year later
>>149009298 But that's true to life. At least if you're a grown man of sound mind and libido. The older you get, the easier it is to grasp that older women are peak femininity.
