Honestly, with this and Fixed, I’m glad that Genndy’s bringing wacky, expressive artstyles to adult animation. Ren & Stimpy-adjacent animation and adult-oriented plots are such an underrated combination, it certainly fits adult cartoons better than the Family Guy/Rick & Morty clone artstyle that’s fucking up the industry.

Look at The Haunted World of El Superbeasto, a perfect example of an adult-animated film making it’s characters wacky, zany, and fun to look at.
