Regular Show is one of the LAST things in need of a revival. The show has remained relevant every year since it's ended via memes and random clips going viral on social media. If Warner Bros. That's what was annoying about it. All the characters had their hangups and were written realistically, and gave each other flack a lot. Then Eileen comes in and is just this mary sue who everyone loves and compliments and even fixes up Rigby. The character as she should've been, was early on when she'd at least still say something smart but people would just treat her as weird and ignore her, when it was like that it felt like she fit the way everyone else is written. I think they started changing that around Meteor Moves, where she still inserted into a Mordo and Rigs song to sing about the science of meteors but everyone still reacted awkwardly, but then it keeps going and starts developing her smartness as endearing and interesting about her passion for astrology and what she studies. After that somewhere she just sort of became like a Big Bang Theory girl and they dialed back the jokes about people ignoring her since she became Rigby's girlfriend and everyone else's friend like CJ out of nowhere around Portable Toilet.

The reason people like her for being "the decent one" is literally just a byproduct of her not fitting into the cast the way everyone else does.

Worst part is there's a HIGH-LARIOUS punchline that could've been salvaged by either having Eileen's dad walk away with a more neutral or defeated expression or by excluding the final panel altogether. It wouldn't even have taken away from the resolution of Eileen having her "me day."
