Imo, as much of an entertaining and memorable antagonist Cyn/AS is, her introduction is one of the worst decisions the series made. The shift in premise from a revenge plot against a corrupt corporation to cosmic horror signaled the point where the narrative started becoming an increasing mess of retcons and plot holes. It would have served the series WAY better to stick to the premise of the pilot, and maybe have Cyn/AS as a season two villain after the JCJenson arc ends.

The narrative was always a cosmic horror monster pulling the strings, even all the way back in the pilot and you can see this if you actually go back and look. It was never going to be a revenge plot about rising up against humans, that's a flagrant red herring because the characters at the beginning don't understand the true scale of what's going on and haven't understood that they're being played by a larger entity yet. Uzi starts catching on in Episode 3 that there's something bigger pulling the strings
Given that you didn't understand this and seem to be under the impression that the series threw in the Absolute Solver and abandoned the "rising up against humans" setup, instead of knewing that the Solver was ALWAYS there and the humans were always dead and not the ones that sent the DDs, I have a feeling that the "plot holes" you're referencing are just you missing other such information that the series actually does show you, and you just don't understand what's going on.

Calling Murder Drones confusing, fast paced or unclear with delivering information is totally valid criticisms one could argue for. But you're just making shit up here because you don't know what you're talking about.

I think it's moreso that Glitch's new shows are just made to be short and there's not much room and that's just how it is. But yeah, I would love for things to be a bit more spaced out with room to breathe. But I'm alright with the fast pace in this case, because the show was experienced with months between episodes to dwell on developments ehich alleviated it being cramped and faat paced.
Watching it through now that it's all finished, yeah. Completely understandable that things move very fast in only 8 episodes. In an ideal world, 10 or 12 episodes would be perfection. Still love it though. Just requires a couple rewatches.

Game of Thrones was so damn good when it first came out. Hour-long episodes. Finally a show where after every episode you were like "aaaaah. I watched something". One twenty minute episode a week or less feels like they're feeding us with a waterdropper. And the other day I came across some creative saying "Why do shows have to be twenty minutes long? Why can't they be eleven minutes or eight minutes?" Motherfuckers are looking to give us an even more subpar product.
