>be kid
>watch Fosters special
>too young to understand everything thats going on but was completely invested
>Wilt is on a lawnmower and mows people's lawns for no reason other than they were unruly and he wanted to help out. No gains no thanks nothing
>wtf
>Black judge guy talks about how Wilt is a hero for saving his town. show images of people fighting for their lives including this one specific image of a woman fighting for her life against a cheetah
>WTF
Kid brain was so blown away by the fact that this guy just did something as simple as mowed peoples lawns and left such an impact on people's lives. It's so peak. I will never forget this show

My earliest cartoon memory would be how much I loved Swat Kats and being eager to watch it whenever it would come on. That or watching lion king in the theater and crying when Mufasa died.

Probably explains why I'm a furfag

Felt similarly with Sherlock Holmes And The 22nd Century. It was just this one show I saw a once or twice before leaving for school on a channel that doesn't even normally show cartoons and pretty much never saw anywhere else.

>The true bad guy was a Scottish mad-scientist hag who was the serial-killer/monster all along
>Been killed in an explosion as the savage monster she was been turned into, by Max
>Never been heard or seen this series again for 29 years until Youtube uploaded the full series
This episode along with the fly vampire one has been stuck in my head, given the fact that these episodes were, in my opinion, the scariest and the most disturbing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DzQSe9cL6A4

Ooh, this is a tough one. Trying to remember as I did watch many shows as a kid but some I know of in hindsight or from parents mentioning it rather than my own core memory.

I think it might have been an episode of Aladdin the Animated Series, although I know for certain I watched other things than that before, just can't remember.

It was the episode with the mermaid witch who tries to steal Aladdin away from Jazmine as she's trapped in a water dimension and can only witness it all from other clear water surfaces. Can't remember what I thought of it as a kid but it's the oldest one I can personally think off, especially since I don't think I've ever rewatched the episode since then.

This one kid cartoon memory I have of watching some ancient cartoon rerun from like the 50s or something about cartoony bug people that ended with some bee lady using her stinger to swordfight another. I could never find it again, and have no idea what it was called but that memory is stuck in there for some reason.

I remember thinking the moon was going to crash into bear's house and destroy everything because of Majora's Mask. And I had never played the game, I was only familiar with it because of a friend who kept talking about it, describing it to me, and showing me his guide of the game. That was my first introduction to the Zelda series and based on how he described it, I thought it was like a horror game like Resident Evil-- something I was more familiar with because my older brother owned it.

my mom says she took me to see Pete's Dragon but I don't remember.
I mostly remember being really young when my "rich" uncle (he wasn't rich, we were just poor) upgraded and gave us his old color TV and my mom slept in on Saturday so I got to watch all the cartoons I wanted. and using the full page ads in the comic books that showed the network's cartoon schedule to figure out which channel to watch

It's all disturbing stuff (or was when I was a kid) and since I'm older I don't know which came first
>Had a bad ear infection, remembering watching those public domain cartoons VHS
>Claymation animation segment on Sesame Street with an orange ball (apparently named Cecille from the internet). She'd sing and chsnge shapes and scare me enough I'd hide behind the couch
>Episode of Talespin where he competes against a robot pilot and has a nightmare about being turned into a robot
>Episode of Fox's Peter Pan and the Pirates where some jealous mermaids trap Wendy underwater to turn her into a mermaid forever
And not a cartoon, but /co/-related:
>The end of Superman where the supercomputer turns a woman into a cyborg (still kind of creeps me out today)

I want to say it's seeing Lion King in theaters, but do the animated sections of the Sebastian musical specials count? We also had Aladdin and Once Upon A Forest on VHS, but I think we actually bought them later. Respectively:
>Profound cognitive dissonance regarding the father-son relationship
