A few years ago, someone did a dump of this, and I've been following it ever since. Does anyone else still follow it? What do you think of it? It just hit chapter/page 500. I know the author is supposedly a crazy bitch, but there is something interesting about it that has kept me following. Not sure if I'd recommend it. Dropping a link since its free to read.

Yeah I'm looking into it again, cute characters, cute feet it's a nice read.

I'm not caught all the way up, but I was really enjoying the story and art. Pepper is probably my favorite character. Also super curious what the hell is going on with those black and white flashback scenes.

I follow it. It's one of my favorite webcomics.
I've made threads about it before, but they didn't get much traction.

I'm looking forward to when it all falls apart and we get some big reveals. I think it's safe to assume by now that halo head is a trauma induced mental space. It's likely sexual trauma from what we've seen in the bedroom flashbacks, and from this trauma needing to be so debilitating that it induced psychosis. Or maybe this isn't psychosis, but rather a split second instance, or maybe something occurring only in the background of someone's mind. Who is the person holding halo head in her brain? I hope we get to see her.

Even from the first page that's one of the few conclusions there is.
The other possibility (though it definitely overlaps with the first), is that the place is an actual pocket dimension. And that they somehow gained reality warping powers after their trauma.

I think I've seen other stories like that. There's probably some SCP stories like that.
It's not the same, but a specific comparison could be what happens to that reality warping kid who becomes comatose and creates a actual pocket dimension that the protagonists travel to in the second season of Dirk Gently's holistic detective agency,

we dont know for sure if its just a coma dream/hallucinationg.
I dont know if its strong evidence against it, but they feel too self-aware for it to be a normal dream. All the characters have their own independent thoughts on things. Chloe and Pepper have had dreams (which we have seen). I think at one point he wonders where he was before he was on halo head.


But I suppose we will find out when pepper goes down the staircases to meet ares.

Ares wouldn't be alive if it Clair was truly malevolent about whatever is going on. It seems like Ares is choosing to be on her own rather than hiding from her or being banished. Also pretty surprised this thread is still alive.
