She didnt teach Hailey shit in fact she was so bad at her job that midway thru season 1 Hailey stops dealing with her journal entirely

A huge improvement for this show would have been not mentioning the journal at all. Just say "you'll get a vibe for when something bad happens."

It really was a weird choice that they gave us such a full look at the future. We fully know everything will be fine if Hailey follows Professor's guidance and that kind of kills a lot of possibilities. Usual pit fall with time travel and they fell right into it. Bigger fumble was not doing more with Patricia right at the start. She was the hottest mom in years. Her and Hailey should be swimming in Oyakodon.
