Because Squidward's Suicide at least had a half-assed story (more like two) while Dead Bart was just "Matt Groening sent me this spooky take where Bart falls off a plane)
Also SpongeBob is more popular with zoomers, who are the main audience of creepypastas

probably just more believable too. bart falling out of a plane could happen to anybody and even then it's questionable as to how other people weren't sucked out if it was just bart being himself and being reckless and opening an emergency door or something. meanwhile squidward an heroing is not only in character but was joked about in a couple of episodes

I also love the part in the story where when the MC gets the file, it almost bricks his whole fucking computer.
Matt was so fucking pissed off that he decided that he was gonna hand out a virus to some guy because he asked him about a spooky episode of the simpsons his made LMAO

Spongebob writers are young people who grew up with that story while Simpsons writers are decrepit fossils that struggle to understand the appeal of Smiling Friends.
>2011 >Just before school time >Chilling with friends when suddenly a friend's older brother wants us to see a cool video >Squidwards suicide >wtf is this.jpeg >See the gore image of that kid >lol bet it's fake >That image becomes something I can't let go off for a week
>>149050621 (OP) >I asked Matt Groening about dead bart >his mood changed >he seemed depressed >handles me a USB drive >walks away
WHO WRITES THIS SHIT??

Simpsons has a older audience and less kids online caring about it. Literally only dumbass kids and low functioning autists give a flying shit about creepypasta bullshit so it limits the type of person who would care about Simpsons creepypasta's. You could argue shows like the Simpsons don't shy away from indulging in occasional horror as well so it makes it less interesting for people who are the types to like "woah dude it's something innocent but now scary??" bullshit.
