The problem with Wally is he's got a bunch of agenda pushers propping him up that don't actually care about him. Marvel cultists hate Barry and Hal cause they're the prototypes that some early Marvel heroes were based on. Batfags like everyone on the JL to fit into some kind of supporting role to him. Modern fandom discovering your series in general are a death sentence.
It's gotten to the point that I've actively started looking towards stuff like "film festival" movies or older films entirely because I know those never attract the kind of TikTok fandom bullshit that shits up any and all discussion around a property.
Once you learn when you're looking at something that was made with passion vs something that was made solely to win critical acclaim, there's a weird comfort in /film/ entirely because I can know that when discussing these movies, I don't have to hear about some retards headcanon regarding that one well played extra who shouted a funny line or worry about a sequel which goes out of its way to pander to whatever people shipped.

The fact of the matter is, no one likes Barry. He's just not very likable. I wish we got a 4th flash after Wally, they tried with impulse but it didn't work
