thanks op, didn't realize this was coming out today but by coincidence I just picked up Godzilla vs Hulk which oddly has a jet jaguar variant as well. I was a little disappointed that hulk and goji didn't get to slug it out but this was fun

Is this Rody or did they revive Tony?
Anonymous No.149053427 >>149053446

They did bring up this was a new version. Sort of related, both Tony and FFF were killed off panel in that vs Hulk book. Not sure if it's actually Tony there, but FFF could be the Next wave clone.

would be better without Maria Hill framing the story as a flashback

I know, right? I had to check the writer because the dialogue just screams Bendis
>>149053427
I don’t think these issues take place in the same continuity. Hulk and Spider-Man seemed connected, but both F4 and this can plausibly be in 616. Idk about X-Mem

Jet Jaguar is always rad, I bet Hank Pym would have a much better life if he built him instead of Ultron.
Anonymous No.149053949
>>149052808
I'm surprised they actually mentioned his creator, Goro Ibuki from Godzilla vs Megalon. Also Jet Jaguar actually prioritises doing stuff instead of making smarmy quips so fuck off Luke Cage.

I somehow both hate it but also am impressed how much he got it down to the point it feels like a parody at his expense of his writing style. But I'm mostly happy to see Godzilla and Jet Jaguar suppose.

Godzilla, I like you my guy but that's just disrespectful.
Anonymous No.149053985 >>149055436
>>149053953
I don't think in this case it's cause they beat him or anything but more so cause Fin Fang Foom was knocked out and Godzilla had no reason to stick around. Plus in the original Marvel Godzilla run the Fantastic Four did subdue him while he was shrunken down to be a little larger then Ben Grimm and I'm still fucking annoyed Hank Pym is so far not remotely involved in this or got to meet any of.the Ultra Brothers.

David Walker is an underrated writer but he's also a Bendis guy (he co-created Naomi). Frustratingly accurate New Avengers framing

Still fun

They should just let Tony built the Oxygen Destroyer in the Marvel Universe

>Hulk is a pretty good fit. Not quite the specifics of the writing style, but everything else matches
>Spider-Man doesn't even try
>X-Men is somewhat there, but that the writer has changed in the decades and isn't juggling a bunch of plotlines at once means he isn't quite 1:1
>So Bendis I wonder if Bendis would get confused if he read it, wondering if it was recycled from cancelled thing he wrote
