This isn't a very good movie. It certainly has a lot of artistic and musical merits, but it's all wasted on a storyline that is pretty bad (contrived, frustrating, rushed, and idiotic). It's a perfect example of a movie with good intentions, yet flawed execution.

>>149055717 (OP)>frustratingwhy so angry?

Not even a character with little screentime as Roxanne escapes the weak writing. She seems like a sweet character at first, but then the writers drop the ball with that "It doesn't matter, Max. It's just a dumb party anyway. I'm still going with someone else tho. Talk to you later" moment
>>149055717 (OP)>This isn't a very good movie.I thought it only claimed to be a goofy one.
>>149055717 (OP)I enjoyed and thought the story was good. I guess I disagree with you, OP.
Does it even take place in the same continuity as Goof Troop? I want to think that it does, but the mysterious absence of Peg, Pistol, Waffles and Chainsaw imply otherwise.
It isn't a very polished movie. Look at how the fishing pole disappears
>>149056239I'm surprised you didn't use the phrase "lazy writing". You seem like the type.
The position of Goofy and his tent changes in relation to the RV between the start of the video and the end
>changes the map route so that it skips Lake Destiny entirely and marks L.A as the final destination with a circle
Max really thought that his dad would be so stupid as not notice that something was wrong

Critics weren't kind to this movie in early 1995. Keep in mind that this came out right after the Beauty/Aladdin/Lion King combo. Pocahontas wouldn't come out until 2 months later.
