If you consider Rey a Mary Sue but not Starkiller, you have no consistency or self awareness

Ahsoka trumps Rey in terms of sexiness, personality, and pretty much everything that matters. In terms of damage done to Star Wars? Ahsoka's got Rey beat. Super special white lightsaber, time travel, defeating powerful enemies with no effort. Filoni needs to stop.

Rey is a Mary Sue. Early/TCW Ahsoka is not a Mary Sue.
Disney Ahsoka is the biggest Mary Sue right next to Sabine.

She's meant to be powerful all Jedi are, I remember her getting kidnapped & defeated a few times. Even retreating, she was very beautiful and went on kino adventures with Anakin & Obi Wan. Fighting iconic villains like Darth Maul & Grievous, even Count Dooku was around. They got involved in heaps of planetary conflicts, two lightsabers and fighting style was very nice.

You think that did damage to Star Wars, but not Rey?
>Vanilla one lightsaber
>Beats seasoned veteran without breaking a sweat
>No cool manoeuvring or use of terrain during battles
>Ungrateful negro actor complaining online about 'Rey shouldn't have been with Kylo, he wanted her'
>No iconic legends, just a throwback Yoda ghost & powerless Luke
>No Jedi organization/training necessary
>Entire empire is toppled by girl boss feminist poofters & coons

years ensues of "wtf Disney ruined it we hate star war now."
>re-release revenge of the sith episode:3 in cinemas
>recognizable figureheads whom fit the fantasy aesthetic make a comeback.
>all the lieutenants, generals, emperors fall the darkness & betrayal and lust for power/control
>political deception, murder of innocence & overthrowing established order
>fondly remembered iconic music, begins with epic space battle
>climaxes is a fight over insta-kill lava between a teacher & student, stakes are high
>forever holds a chip on his shoulder, is now bitter resentful jaded and holds a grudge
>expresses genuine remorse over killing the mother to his child
>ends with him patiently overseeing the construction of a weapon of mass destruction
>breaks records as highest grossing cinematic re-release of all time
Yeah I'm thinking undisputed kino.

>disney
>compulsory, mandated, essential & necessary inclusion of dark skinned freaks
>"me jedi too, me jedi too!"
>girlboss that everyone inexplicably agrees with
Absolute dogshit, no question about it.

Making Rey the long lost granddaughter of Palpatine is pretty cringe Mary Sue worthy, but itโ€™s still a fucking better explanation than TLJ saying sheโ€™s a rando that the Force empowered cause it auto-balances when one side is too strong or whatever.

>Wow a prodigy that already had been taken cared of by a Jedi, started training at the age of can't even fucking speak in a game that has you killing fodder for most of the game and senile Jedi that have been on the run for decades is... decently powerful?
If you exclude the DLC which obviously doesn't fucking happen Starkiller is portrayed as just barely above Vader and that's when he's at his absolute strongest vs Vader on a random day of his life. Also "under trained" yet somehow beats everyone she fights even when she's outnumbered.

True. Worst backstab against your own franchise in movie history, and for no good reason, too.
