If Madokami is restricted by the nature of her wish to only being concerned with Witches, there is no fight because no fight is possible. Madokami has no reason to show up to the fight, and under normal circumstances has no physical existence that Knull could track her down to in order to force a confrontation. It would be like trying to find and kill magnetism.
If Madokami is able to use her full suite of powers? There is no fight because Knull gets his soul evaporated the moment he first comes into existence by a literally infinite number of soul-destroying magical arrows fired at him from other timelines.

Knull is a "god" in the sense that he is a very strong guy with divine magical powers.
Madokami is a god in that she is an omnipresent force that exists at all moments in time, in all timelines, simultaneously. They simply cannot lose a battle of attrition, because they can't be permanently destroyed. Hades, Poseidon and Zeus obviously met the criteria and even Helios felt more of a threat despite being crippled by another guy.
