How about a team of villains fighting a team of heroes?

Oh wait...their villains either sucked, killed off or turned into joke versions of MODOK.

The Fox X-men can absolute destroy any of the other teams that don't have Thor, Wanda, or Strange.

Bring in Lou Ferrigno as a Savage Hulk variant. Have him fight Wolverine and Thing at the same time

This will probably be some stupid fake out where they aren't actually after one another and after the first third, the movie is about something else

But even if it is true, it's truly stupid. You have a C-List Avenger's team, which even so have Sentry and two serum enhanced humans on it versus four randos, one of whose huge power is 'I turn invisible' and another is 'I can turn into a rubber band.' While a competent Johnny might keep up with two super soldiers, and a competent Ben might keep up with same, they would also easily lose to Sentry.
