It sounds too soft for Lex Luthor, if that makes sense.

Maybe I'm just stuck on the Clancy Brown version.
His Lex is a whiny loser. Makes sense to have a whiny loser voice.
I always liked the idea of young Zuckerberg Luthor, although nobody else does.
They are a creepy type, and proud, and greedy, and they fit the modern world very well, being an excellent foil to big square jaw country boy Superman
>>149062193 (OP)how the fuck do you make a boxoffice movie look worse than AI
First Class was my favorite X-men movie and it also looked like crap. I'm not saying that this looking like crap is a good sign, but I just wanted to say that.
I guess I'll be okay if they don't include the John Williams Superman theme
But if they use it in a comedic fashion to make fun of it, I'm out
>>149062193 (OP)Here's a hot take, they should have made Lex Luthor black like they accidentally did in the animated show.
>>149063062>His Lex is a whiny loser.A hero is only as good as his arch-nemesis.
>>149062193 (OP)A 1 dimensional Kevin Spacey / Hackman villain. Fuck this.
>>149062193 (OP)His voice is fine, the problem is that these retarded trailers cut up pieces of dialogue from the movie to form new sentences for the trailer, and the inflection is obviously super different
>>149063340or maybe it just that bad

>>149062193 (OP)He isn't the only terrible cast in the movie.
>>149063261Uh anon they've been milking the fuck out of the Williams theme in every single commerical
>>149062193 (OP)This nigga was a marvelous psychopath in The Great, he fucked the main character's mother sout of a window and you still felt bad for him
>>149062193 (OP)Lex needed an actor of different caliber. I think James McAvoy would be ideal, the one they chose just doesn't have the right feel to it, he is not imposing enough
