I remember reading a long-winded review of the Incredibles on the internet shortly after it came out, and the guy kept going on about how this was such a "mature" and "adult" movie, and how Pixar was graduating to finally making "real" movies, and Helen looking at her butt in the mirror was one of his biggest talking points.
